A two-day workshop on large carnivore monitoring took place in Prespa, Greece, on 2 and 3 February 2006. The workshop was organised by the MES team engaged in lynx study and protection, together with PPNEA from Albania and Calisto from Greece. The workshop was initited by SPP and it was attended by over 40 participants, including SPP employees and rangers. Besides training on monitoring the lynx and its preys, several field work activities were conducted and a few camera traps were deployed.
