In achieving its own goals, MES organises and takes part in scientific gatherings, conferences, forums, and symposiums of international character. Such gatherings do not only offer an opportunity to present achievements and novelties in the field of ecology at national and regional levels, but they also ensure the making of numerous new contacts as the basis for future cooperation and joint action towards reaching the general goal of environmental and biodiversity protection.
MES’s current experience shows that the involvement of professionals, the cooperation with many experts, scientists, governmental and non-governmental organisation, students, pupils and the local population, and also the continuous endeavours to resolve specific ecological problems in the country and the region, have afforded the conditions for MES to grow into a citizens’ organisation that will make great contribution in providing information and education on issues pertaining to biology, ecology, and environmental and nature protection.
