{"id":8925,"date":"2024-03-19T10:56:41","date_gmt":"2024-03-19T10:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/?p=8925"},"modified":"2024-03-19T10:58:46","modified_gmt":"2024-03-19T10:58:46","slug":"monitoring-of-the-rare-plant-astragalus-physocalyx","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/monitoring-of-the-rare-plant-astragalus-physocalyx\/","title":{"rendered":"Monitoring of the rare plant Astragalus physocalyx"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"flex flex-grow flex-col max-w-full\">\n<div class=\"min-h-[20px] text-message flex flex-col items-start gap-3 whitespace-pre-wrap break-words [.text-message+&amp;]:mt-5 overflow-x-auto\" data-message-author-role=\"assistant\" data-message-id=\"8ec06b87-7cd6-4c29-b738-a899a4286915\">\n<div class=\"markdown prose w-full break-words dark:prose-invert light\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/monitoring-of-the-rare-plant-astragalus-physocalyx\/img_20230430_115342\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8926\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8926\" src=\"http:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/img_20230430_115342-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThroughout 2023, the association POLIMAT 13 carried out monitoring of the plant Astragalus physocalyx as part of the project &#8220;Building Local Capacities for Managing Bogdanci SPA,&#8221; funded by CEPF.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this initiative, an educational component was implemented, providing practical training in field monitoring to four students &#8211; three from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and one from the Faculty of Forestry Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>This marked a first-time experience for POLIMAT 13, offering an opportunity to collaborate with enthusiastic young individuals who eagerly engaged in field activities, despite facing challenging weather conditions uncommon to their usual climate.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/monitoring-of-the-rare-plant-astragalus-physocalyx\/img_20230430_114056\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8928\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8928\" src=\"http:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/img_20230430_114056-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Beyond the hands-on experience gained in monitoring and data collection, our aim was to instill in these young participants a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation, broaden their understanding of ecosystems influenced by sub-Mediterranean climates, and foster a strong awareness of the importance of safeguarding endangered plant species and their habitats.<\/p>\n<p>Exploring the perspectives and ideas of these young minds on contributing to the protection and promotion of the Significant Plant Area &#8220;Bogdanci&#8221; proved particularly insightful.<\/p>\n<p>This experience proved immensely enriching for our association, and we trust it will also serve as a valuable contribution to the professional and personal growth of the students involved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Throughout 2023, the association POLIMAT 13 carried out monitoring of the plant Astragalus physocalyx as part of the project &#8220;Building Local Capacities for Managing Bogdanci SPA,&#8221; funded by CEPF.
