The award was handed by the president of the Republic of Macedonia, Gjorgje Ivanov in the presidential residence on 8<sup>th<\/sup> March 2013. Katerina Bacheva works as a demonstrator at the Chemistry Institute at the Faculty for Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Skopje, for tutorials for graduate and post-graduate students for the following subjects: Analytical chemistry I and II, Instrumental analytical methods and Toxicological Chemistry. Her doctorate has also been accepted. So far she has had 2 published paper, one part in a scientific treatise, 20 scientific researches (11 of which have been published in prestigious magazines), 28 reviews for scientific meetings (13 of
