{"id":5513,"date":"2018-01-30T12:58:41","date_gmt":"2018-01-30T12:58:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/wp\/?p=5513"},"modified":"2020-10-15T19:38:05","modified_gmt":"2020-10-15T19:38:05","slug":"2-kongres-na-ekolozite-na-makedonija-so-megunarodno-uchestvo-ohrid-2003-godina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/2-kongres-na-ekolozite-na-makedonija-so-megunarodno-uchestvo-ohrid-2003-godina\/","title":{"rendered":"2nd Congress of Ecologists of Macedonia with International Participation, Ohrid 2003"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2nd Congress of Ecologists of Macedonia with International Participation was held in Ohrid in the period 25\u201329 October 2003.<\/p>\n<p>Participants presented results and scientific achievements within nine ecological sections, as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Terrestrial ecosystems;<\/li>\n<li>Aquatic ecosystems;<\/li>\n<li>Conservation of biodiversity and geodiversity;<\/li>\n<li>Agroecology;<\/li>\n<li>Ecology of populations and biocenology;<\/li>\n<li>Ecological monitoring;<\/li>\n<li>Pollution and protection of the environment;<\/li>\n<li>Ecological education; and<\/li>\n<li>Public participation and NGOs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The presented papers (a total of 101 papers) and plenary lectures were printed in the Proceedings of the\u00a02nd Congress of Ecologists of Macedonia with International Participation, organised into six summary sections:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Terrestrial ecosystems: ecology, ecophysiology and biocenology;<\/li>\n<li>Aquatic ecosystems and hydrobiology;<\/li>\n<li>Biodiversity: research and protection, geodiversity;<\/li>\n<li>Agroecology;<\/li>\n<li>Environmental protection and monitoring; and<\/li>\n<li>Ecological education.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Scientists both from Macedonia and the neighbouring countries, like Serbia and Montenegro, Bulgaria, Slovenia, and Romania, showed interest and took part.
