{"id":4599,"date":"2016-06-09T14:45:06","date_gmt":"2016-06-09T12:45:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/nov-sajt\/?p=4599"},"modified":"2020-10-15T19:40:27","modified_gmt":"2020-10-15T19:40:27","slug":"obuka-za-prepoznavanje-ptici-i-nivnata-migracija","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mes.org.mk\/en\/obuka-za-prepoznavanje-ptici-i-nivnata-migracija\/","title":{"rendered":"Training for identification of bird species and their migratory patterns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Mountaineering Club \u201cBigla \u2013 Ilinica\u201d organized their final activity as a part of their microgrant \u201cFalling in Love with Birds\u201d financed by the project \u201cCapacity Building For Flyway Conservation in the Mediterranean\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The two-day activity consisted of workshops with participants from their own club (the youngest members of the mountain hiking club) \u2013 in and outside the classroom \u2013 by identifying bird species and learning about their migration.<\/p>\n<p>By visiting the Belche wetlands, participants had a chance to learn how to use binoculars and develop their birdwatching skills \u2013 by identifying differences in physical form, sound, colour, habitat and particular behaviour.<\/p>\n<p>Following afterwards was learning the taxonomic differences of the species through memory and association-based games.
