The aim of this study tour was introduction to the management of the park but also the challenges that this park is having as a new protected zone.<\/p>\n
This study tour was organized by Euronatur, Germany, Macedonian Ecological Society and \u201cFriends of Schwarzwald\u201d, organization that was established in 2011 with aim to promote and to lobby for the proclamation of \u201cSchwarzwald\u201d as national park.<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Germany has only few national parks, almost all forests are managed by the timber industry. We wanted this region to be preserved for the next generations, said Thomas Braunagel from \u201cFriends of Schwarzwald\u201d to the group from Macedonia.<\/p>\n
\u201cFriends of Shara\u201d were informed about the creative campaigns which provided effective lobbing at the state level in order for one zone to be protected. The group had nature tours and visited the open air museum \u201cVogtsbauernhof\u201d.<\/p>\n
–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The study tour in Schwarzwald was very useful for us, we learned how we need to raise our voices for nature, and what steps we need to take in order to ensure nature conservation, said Aleksandra Timosieska from \u201cThe Institute for Community Development\u201d, from Tetovo.<\/p>\n
Six representatives from Macedonian Ecological Society, Institute for Community Development from Tetovo, the Center for Educational Development from Tearce and the Mountaineering Club \u201cLjuboten\u201d from Tetovo participated in the study tour.<\/p>\n
